Santa Clara County’s Stand Down 2024 is a free 3-day event designed to provide services and support to all veterans and their families.
At the Stand Down there will be a claims clinic to provide full support for claims, dental services, and an opportunity to meet with the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. Click on VETERANS - Register Now & More Info in the column to the left.
Please register for the Stand Down, as a veteran, someone related or supporting a veteran, as a volunteer, or a vendor seeking to provide services to veterans. When you register you will get a QR code that will speed up your entry into the Stand Down and give you the opportunity to be connected to the VSO to receive updates from the office related to the Stand Down.

Directions
Driving directions from local freeways and public transit routes are available on the Fairgrounds website. Parking is free for everyone coming to the Stand Down. General public parking will be past Gate A, across Tully Road from the main entryway. Handicapped parking will be located through Gate C. Once you park, follow the signs to check in and join us in the Pavilion and Fiesta Hall.
VTA Buses will be free of charge to any veteran going to the Stand Down. Identify yourself to the driver as a veteran and tell them you want to get to the Stand Down at the Fairgrounds. Get off at the ‘Santa Clara County Fairgrounds' stop.
